The entire Sunday experience lasts about an hour and one thing is for sure....you won't be bored and you won't feel unwelcome. Come as you are, and dress however you want; from shirt and tie to sandals and shorts, everyone is welcome here. Whether you are single, married, a parent, teen or child, we strive to make church creative, relevant and excellent for you each week.

Serve the poor at a soup kitchen in Silver Spring on Friday nights once a month.

As you may have noticed, we are a portable church, meaning we set up and tear down the church services every single week. This means that we are always in need of volunteers! Even if you can only give one hour, we'll find a job for ya. Whether you can help run the computer during the main service, or you would like to help set up the children's ministry room, we have a position that's just right for you!

RTGT is a new mentoring program for 8th-12th grade girls.  Teenaged girls today face many complex, confusing issues as they transition to young womanhood.  We want to give them a safe place to discuss and navigate issues that are important to them by providing solid Biblical truths and godly, positive, trusting relationships.  Parents, teens, or women interested in serving as mentors are encouraged to join us for this informational meeting. One of the marks of a good team is unity. Being on the same page, connected, together. Towards that end we do monthly Summits where we just get together and talk youth ministry around a table of food and good friends. Our purpose will be to grow our team into more of a family that does ever improving, mission-driven youth ministry together. A YL Summit is a time for us to get together and talk youth ministry, worship, celebrate stories of our youth growing in Christ, get training, get to know each other and just enjoy being a team! We'll bring Sardi's chicken and you guys bring sides.

Calling all 6th-8th grade and 9th-12th grade students! Looking for a weekend away with friends for good times? Found it! Pennsylvania Christian Teen Convention (PCTC) is a rad way to connect with friends and God! We’re trying something new this year. Both our middle school and high school groups are going to two great conventions in one at the PCTC. At the PCTC each group gets their own convention to hang out at with God in the middle. A weekend away in Harrisburg addressing some stuff that will challenge the way we think about life. Any questions? Please contact us at the JC offices or on e-mail at youth@journeyscrossing.org.
